Journalists Rank Horn Group as ‘Best of the Best’ For Second Year In a Row In PR SourceCode's Annual Study
On July 24, 2007, PR SourceCode released its annual Top Tech Communicators study where Horn Group was selected as the top mid-sized PR agency in a survey of 300 IT journalists. The second annual PR SourceCode study honored Horn Group as the top performer in its category for the second year in a row. The survey rankings are timely and relevant to the discussion taking place between PR professionals and journalists about relationships, value and authenticity.
Those surveyed included the editorial community from IT trade media such as Computerworld, eWEEK, and InformationWeek; vertical IT books, such as the healthcare community’s Healthcare IT News and Healthcare Informatics; and IT reporters at consumer-oriented news outlets such as USA Today and U.S. News and World Report. The “Top Tech Communicators” findings are based on an online survey of the editorial staffs of the leading IT publications, requesting nominations for the PR agency and corporate PR department that add the most value to their editorial processes, in terms of responsiveness, reliability, and overall recognition of editorial needs. Respondents rated each winner based on best overall performance.
"Our clients depend on the strong relationships we've cultivated within the editorial community, so we are particularly proud of this recognition as a Top Tech Communicator," said Dee Anna McPherson, principal of Horn Group. "We focus on helping our clients tell interesting and unique stories and navigate the changing media landscape, shorter news cycles and increasing influence of social media."
